da un rettilineo in salita lungo oltre 1 km, dove le MotoGP da 990 cm\u00b3 raggiungevano una velocit\u00e0 di circa 340 km\/h, (il record, stabilito da Andrea Iannone durante la gara del 2016, \u00e8 di 354,9 km\/h), da severi cambi di pendenza e da curve molto veloci, cieche e impegnative, come l\u2019\u201dArrabbiata 1\u201d e l\u2019\u201dArrabbiata 2\u201d. Da notare anche la Casanova-Savelli, una chicane destra-sinistra in discesa, importante per il tempo sul giro. Nel 1988 il circuito fu acquistato dalla Ferrari, che dette inizio a una profonda opera di ristrutturazione dell\u2019impianto, dotandolo delle migliori infrastrutture esistenti e aggiornandole continuamente, pur mantenendo inalterato il disegno del tracciato, molto impegnativo per i piloti.<br><br>L\u2019evoluzione del tracciato \u00e8 stata causata dalla necessit\u00e0 di migliorare gli standard di sicurezza, mantenendo inalterata la configurazione iniziale del competizioni GT e Corse Clienti Ferrari.<br><br>L\u2019autodromo ha vinto per cinque volte il premio come miglior circuito mondiale di motociclismo (Best Grand Prix, 1995-1996-1997-2000-2011).<br><br>Per le sue qualit\u00e0 l\u2019autodromo internazionale del Mugello \u00e8 stato scelto per ospitare, dall\u20191 al 3 maggio 2012, l\u2019unica sessione collettiva di prove F1 a stagione in corso.<br><br>Quasi tutti i piloti impegnati nel test espressero grande entusiasmo per la bellezza e la difficolt\u00e0 del tracciato mugellano.<br><br>Mark Webber si espresse cos\u00ec: \u201cIn termini di soddisfazione, 10 giri sull\u2019asciutto al Mugello valgono quanto 1000 ad Abu
